Nazywam się Karol Kirycki i mam 33 lata. Od 20 lat przez życie prowadzi mnie skakanie na rowerze górskim oraz snowboard i z tymi właśnie dyscyplinami związane jest wszystko co robię na co dzień. Do tej pory m.in. produkowałem ochraniacze do sportów ekstremalnych, prowadziłem 3 kryte obiekty (skatepark/dirtpark/bowl) w Warszawie i Białymstoku, oraz zajmowałem się organizacją imprez. Jestem również jednym z 2 w PL licencjonowanych sędziów pucharu świata w rowerowym freestyle’u - FMB World Tour. W międzyczasie projektuję i buduję trasy rowerowe w górach, oraz organizuję wyjazdy dla rowerzystów w nietypowe miejsca - Serbia, Turcja, Norwegia.

Main goal of this project i’d like you to participate in is building a one of a kind TREEHAUS which is going to take place at RADIHAUS grounds. This will make my guest house able to host 2 up to 4 more mountain lovers. Is it really worth it, and why here?

I’ve been running a cozy mountain guest house, at the height of 454 meters above sea level, called RADIHAUS for almost 4 years now. It is situated 200m from bottom station of Żar Mountain ski lift, and 1,5km from Międzybrodzkie Lake. Slow-life spirit is the philosophy of the place overall. I love spending time in the mountains and try to share my passion with my guests as well as during the snowboarding and mountain biking school we run in the place. Last winter we invented an innovative “From Zero To Snowboard Hero” package. Every weeekend we bring people from Warsaw and other cities on the way to teach them snowboarding during the weekend lessons in the mountain surrounding house. You can also rent RADIHAUS when there is no weekend school.

Żar Mountain is not a simple tourist atraction, but most of all a "place-to-be" for all the outdoor enthusiasts from across the country. It offers several sports activities like:
My name is Karol Kirycki and I am 33 years young. For over 20 years now following my mountain biking and snowboarding passion is the most important part of my life, and every single thing i do in my life is somehow connected with one of those. I've been manufacturing extreme sports equipment with my KRKprotection brand, running 3 indoor venues - skatepark, dirtpark and skate bowl, and managing some sport events. I am also a licensed FMB World Tour judge in freestyle mountain biking. In the meantime i design and build some mountain bike courses and organise some sport trips around the world - Serbia, Turkey, Norway. I was born and rised in north-east Poland - Białystok - a place with no mountains at all. Since i went snowboarding for the first time i said to myself that one day i will live high in the mountains. It took me nearly 10 years to make it happen but now i am here - in the most beautifull place in Poland - mountains by the lake :)
LEVEL 1 - 60.000 PLN - TREEHAUS
This is a kind of dream for almost every single person out there - from a kid till granny. It was designed for both - couples and young 2+2 families. An independent (almost) full-season cozy house with an owen fireplace. Panoramic windows at both floors just to see the sunrise over the mountains. Just under it you'll find a part of polish winter history - swing made of 2-person chair from and old skilift in Szczyrk.
LEVEL 2 - 80.000 PLN - POOL + PUMPTRACK
Some call it pool, some call it bowl. Designed by the most experienced and best skate-bowl rider in Poland - Marcin Baca Duch. Going to be filled with water to keep the hot summer days chilled and empty in spring in autumn to improve your skate and bmx skills! :)
Pumptracks are called a bike playgrounds. We will use the ground from the pool-whole to shape a unique loop for learning basics of mountain biking and skating. This quite young sports discipline makes a lots of fans around the world cause it is easy, safe and accessible for everyone. Bascially it is great fun for everyone from 3 till 103 years old! :)
LEVEL 3 - over 80.000 PLN
If you're going to be even more interested in this project i still have some ideas in my head to make a reality at RADIHAUS. Depending on collected money i'd love to build a sauna, garage for 2 cars, fireplace with a big bbq place and some other improvements of both main house and garden.
Woodworking is my big passion and i want to make 100% of the constructions with a team of my friends who love the place, and are very interested in improving RADIHAUS. Those guys are a kind of special forces for all the projects we did in the past. We already build together 5 mountain biking world tour stops in Poland, some obstacles for OCR runs and many other interesting constructions. To make this project happen we still need to rent some special tools and buy tons of materials like:
