Depresja i wykluczenie społeczne
Dodano 11.12.2016, godz.
Depression is an illness, often a side effect of a medication, body biochemistry or an aftermath of the traumatic life events or difficult social situation. Depression is not contagious, but it is spreading like a wildfire. It is a curable illness, but it has two side effects, that make it much harder to recover from it: a stigma and social exclusion. Contrary to a popular belifef, a depressed person does not have an ability to snap out of this condition. Every 40 seconds a sensitive, worthy, and intelligent person leaves us, because depression, stigma and lack of understanding and support became a burden too heavy to carry. A social solidarity rooted in spirituality is a remedy not only for depression, but also for creation of a better, warmer, wiser and more sensitive world. Let's open our hearts and give support to those who became socially excluded. Statistics show, that it can happen to anyone.
